Foreign Relations

CPN (UML)'s foreign policy is guided by the principles of equality, independence, non-interference, mutual respect and cooperation as enshrined in the UN Charter and spelled in the Pachasheel. The Party maintains its fraternal relations with communists and socialist parties and friendly relations with other democratic parties and official relations with other parties. The Party does not limit its relations within a narrow space while maintaining its foreign relations. The Party is always interested to extend its relations with all the democratic political parties and groups abroad. The Party extends its moral support to all genuine and progressive of people's movements and struggles for democracy, independence and national liberation.
